Accessibility Statement
After a thorough technical and manual analysis of the pages and functionalities, we prepare a complete and clear statement, compliant with European regulations (EAA, WAD), informing users about the website’s level of accessibility and any planned improvements.
Compliance status
Based on the automated and manual tests carried out on all public pages of the website, the main structural elements and dynamic components, it is declared that the website is non-compliant with the accessibility requirements set out in the European Accessibility Act (EAA).
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is currently not compliant with WCAG 2.2 requirements for the following reasons:
- Lack of a unique <h1> tag on several pages, with an inconsistent heading structure.
- Incomplete header/footer: missing “skip to content/footer” links, incomplete ARIA landmarks, and a logo without alt text in the footer.
- Images without a descriptive alt attribute or with empty alt text, including those in carousels and galleries.
- Navigation menu: missing ARIA labels, making keyboard navigation difficult.
- Links and buttons without accessible labels (icons without aria-label, links with non-descriptive or duplicated text).
- Carousels and sliders are not accessible: lack of proper ARIA controls, autoplay management, the ability to pause/stop, and focus is not always correctly handled.
- Interactive and multimedia content: interactive images with POIs that cannot be used via keyboard and lack text labels for markers, embedded videos without synchronized captions or accessible descriptions for the play icon.
- Contact forms with incomplete labels, required fields not properly marked, and no accessible error messages.
- Visible but weak focus in some areas, making it difficult to perceive when navigating via keyboard.
Planned corrective actions
A technical remediation plan is underway to progressively resolve the issues listed above. The goal is to bring the website sydexpump.com to full compliance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA) within the established deadlines.
During this transition phase, the customizable accessibility widget InclusivitySite EasyAccess, based on Iubenda technology, will be integrated into the site. It will compensate for some structural issues that have not yet been resolved and act as an aid to the browsing experience.
Drafting of this statement
This statement was drafted on 24/09/2025.
This statement was confirmed and published on 11/12/2025.
The assessment, based on WCAG 2.2 level AA criteria, was carried out using the AccessAudit InclusivitySite service by Internetimage, through:
- Automated analysis using the custom InclusivitySite software;
- Manual and technical analysis performed by qualified staff;
- Verification of the source code and interactive behaviours.
This statement will be updated after any substantial change to the website, or in any case at least once a year. A new assessment will be carried out at the end of the remediation work to certify the achievement of full compliance.
